Hoff & Co.
I’m Tyler and I lead a group of artists and collaborators focused on wedding and special event filmmaking. Our goal is to capture inspiring video imagery that, when edited together, tells the story of how the day looks and how it moved those who attended. Over the last 15 years, I’ve covered over 200 weddings and each one is unique in what it values.
Our style is defined by the cinema vérité movement that originates in Italy. Cinema vérité, also known as direct cinema or observational cinema, is a documentary filmmaking style that emphasizes capturing reality as it unfolds, without interference or manipulation. It emerged in the 1960s and was characterized by its handheld cameras, naturalistic lighting, and unobtrusive approach to storytelling. The goal of cinema vérité is to present an authentic and unfiltered depiction of subjects and events, often involving real people and their everyday lives.
My approach is to be a calming presence that captures the day as it unfolds. By de-stressing each moment, we get more authentic, more comfortable, and more emotional moments.
I’d love to chat with you and see if we may be the right fit for capturing your special day and preserving it for a lifetime.
